SA HRV and expertise
His whole life has revolved around sports medicine, physical education medicine (doctor on numerous Olympic teams) in the academic sphere, as well as in sports practice. He was at the very birth of the idea to focus on theSA HRV methodology as part of research and application in sports. From the very beginning to this day his is a leader in research and application of the methodology in the Czech Republic. He is the co-author of the original SW for evaluating SA HRV in laboratory and clinical practice, and is also the author or co-author of tens of expert lectures and publications, of which the majority focuses on SA HRV and its use in sports (see overview of literature). In his free time he enjoys recreational sports, music arrangement and amateur photography.
Verner Lička
Sport
The former successful Czech football player and current coach. His football successes include a gold medal from the 1980 Olympic Games, bronze medal from 1980 European Championship, 3x winner of the Czechoslovak League (1975/76, 1979/80, 1980/81). He is the former general manager of FC Baník Ostrava. During 1993–1998 he was the assistant coach of the Czech national team. In July 2015 he coached the Czech team of out-of-contract footballers under the ČAFH banner, which won the title at the international European FIFPro tournament. In April 2016 he became head coach of the Polish 3rd Division club RKS Radomiak Radom. He is the president of the Czech Union of Football Coaches. He first became acquainted with the opportunities of utilizing the SA HRV method in training during his collaboration with R. Šlachta as the coach of FC Baník Ostrava almost 15 years ago. Since then they have remained professionally in contact which saw Verner become a member of the team of advisors when the mySASY project was getting off the ground.
